At Brant Custom Machining, Ltd., we are a well-respected source for close tolerance CNC milled and turned parts. Our industry expertise, state-of-the-art equipment, and talented workforce allow us to manufacture large components with detail-oriented precision. We have in-depth experience working with materials of all types, from standard, exotic, and precious metals to plastic polymers, impregnated graphite, and fiberglass reinforced composites. One of our core strengths is our ability to uphold tolerances as tight as ± 0.0005″ on milled parts measuring up to 83” x 60”x 20” with dimensions for turning as large as 60” in diameter. In addition to large scale machining centers and lathes, we have high capacity lifting equipment that allows us to maneuver parts weighing up to 30,000 lbs or 15 tons.

Capable of executing numerous machining processes both simple and complex, we utilize the very latest in computer control technologies, automated feeds, and rotary table indexing to enable fast cycle times that expedite turnaround. Up to four axes of motion combined with 3- and 4-jaw chucks allow complex features to be created from a single setup, while in-house fixturing and tooling gives us precise control over cost and quality. Specializing in low to moderate volume production, we have the resources to reverse engineer worn or obsolete parts for repair and refurbishment projects.

Grinding Services
Committed to providing our clients with precision quality products, Brant Custom Machining, Ltd.’s grinding services are capable of supplying parts with very fine finishes and exceptionally accurate dimensions. For parts with dimensions of 24″ (L) x 12″ (W) and up to 38″ on the diagonal, we have the resources to shape surfaces to within ±0.0002″ tolerances and leave them with a 16 to 63 RMS finish.

Our Blanchard grinders are capable of fast-speed removal of stock from ferrous metals and deliver uniform, consistent results within a production lot, while our surface grinding equipment provides excellent size and geometry control on internal and external surfaces. We are able to finish all types of metal, from hardened castings and carbon steel to aluminum and ductile iron.

When precise form and dimensional accuracy are of paramount importance, our grinding services offer a superior level of quality. We use high-resolution metrology equipment in closely supervised quality assurance processes to validate product integrity.
