From the very beginning our founders set out to build a company that reflects a conscious effort to live better, eat better, and do better through the creation of delicious, plant-based bars made with clean ingredients and low or no-added sugar.

Clean and Purposeful Ingredients
Our bars are carefully crafted with natural, purposeful and plant-based ingredients.

All of our products are Non-GMO project verified, Vegan Certified, Gluten Free and made without anything artificial. We believe food just tastes better, and is better for you, without all the weird artificial stuff. So all of our bars are made with no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.

Low Sugar
We are committed to producing products that have low sugar and taste delicious.

Our Deliciously Clean™ Hungry Buddha® Bars have only 2g of Sugar, 10g of Plant Protein and are High in Fiber making them the perfect snack for pre or post workout or anytime to curb hunger or sugar cravings.

Plant-Powered Protein
We believe that plant-powered is better for you and better for the planet. Our Vegan Certified Hungry Buddha® Bars are made with 10g of plant protein to keep you fueled during all your adventures.

Low Sugar
While other bars are loaded with sugar or artificial sweeteners, Hungry Buddha® Bars have only 2g of sugar per serving and are made with only natural sweeteners. Hungry Buddha® Bars are also Keto Certified for those following a Keto Diet.

High Fiber
Enjoying a diet that is rich in fiber is good for your overall health. Now getting your daily fiber just got a whole lot tastier. Each Hungry Buddha® Bar has 14g of Fiber (wow!) and tastes super delicious.

Deliciously Clean™
Here at Buddha Brands™ we believe that food just tastes better, and is better for you, without all the weird artificial stuff. All our bars are crafted with only clean, high-quality ingredients. Hungry Buddha® Bars have no artificial flavors, sweeteners or colors, are peanut free, gluten free, soy free, vegan certified and non-GMO project verified. Happy Snacking!

Buddha Brands is Plant-Powered
We believe that plant-powered is better for our health and better for the planet. All of our products are plant-based, helping to lower our CO2 impact on the environment compared to dairy and animal-based products.

Sustainable Manufacturing
Our Commitment to Sustainability

Packaging is a key part of our sustainability plan. All of our bar boxes are recyclable, and we are working to eliminate plastic we don’t need including working with industry leaders to identify recyclable solutions for bar wrappers.

The factory that produces our bars is LEED certified. LEED certified buildings improve efficiency and lower carbon emissions. Compared to similar factories, the factory that produces our bars uses 25% less energy and does not have any active cooling or heating – it is all Geothermal!

Protecting our Natural Resources and Nourishing Our Communities
Each year Buddha Brands donates to like-minded organizations focused on protecting our natural resources and nourishing our communities such as Second Harvest and more.

In 2022, Buddha Brands donated $80,000 to Second Harvest Canada in support of their vision “No Waste, No Hunger”. The donation will help provide enough food to distribute 242,424 meals through agencies and partners across Canada. Additionally, the food rescued for these meals will help prevent the release of over 700,000 pounds of greenhouse gases into the earth’s atmosphere.

100% of surplus products are directed to community organizations including Second Harvest.
